Supplies:

1. Plastic heart shaped ornaments
2. Acrylic paint
3. Extra fine glitter
4. Polycrylic glossy
5. Cup to let extras drip into
6. Ribbon or string to hang ornaments
7. Permanent or removable vinyl
8. Cricut or other similar machine
9. Transfer tape
10. Weeding tool
11. Varnishing tool

Steps for painted ornament:

1. Remove ornament top.

2. Pour acrylic paint inside ornament and move ornament around until all sides of the ornament are covered with the paint.

3. Set ornament upside down on cup to let the extra paint drip out.

4. Once paint is fully dry, cut words out of vinyl and place on ornament.

5. Put the top back on the ornament and add string to hang it.

Steps for glitter ornament:

1. Remove ornament top.

2. Pour polycrylic inside ornament and move ornament around until all sides of the ornament are covered with the polycrylic.

3. Set ornament upside down on cup to let the extra polycrylic drip out.

4. When polycrylic turns transparent add extra fine glitter inside ornament. Move the ornament around until all areas of the ornament are coated with glitter.

5. Set ornament aside to dry.

6. Cut out vinyl words and place them on your ornament.

7. Put the top back on the ornament and add string to hang it.

I like how these turned out. They are a fun decoration or could be added to a gift. The pink conversation heart (the one I added the alcohol to first) has a small area where the paint has cracked after I hung it on my little tree for a few days. So, I would not recommend applying the alcohol to the ornament first. The purple ornament that I just put the paint directly into the ornament does not have any cracking. For best results make sure to shake your paint well, and use new paint. I used the apple barrel brand of acrylic paint.
