Supplies:
- Cardstock or wood. You can also use other materials like fabric and vinyl.
- Cricut machine or Laser cutter like a Glowforge.
- Flat cardboard or a thicker material as a backer for the Cricut version.
- Paint and paint brush for Glowforge version.
- Craft glue, like Bearly art for Cricut version.

Steps:
1. Delete or hide the pieces you do not want to use. I used the blue heart for my Glowfore method, but the Glowforge can also be layered like the other heart pieces. The other pieces are for the Cricut method.
2. Duplicate stars and place as desired. I used 20 stars. The star with the square around it is if you would like to paint stars on with a stencil, in which case you only need to cut out this one star out of a thin plastic like acetate.
3. Place all of your pieces inside each other and size your heart to your liking. I made the width (the largest measurement) about 5 inches.
4. Once all of your pieces are cut assemble your heart. For the Glowforge version I painted my wood and brushed off the extra paint to show a little bit of the wood. For the Cricut version I glued all the pieces onto the thin cardboard heart. I recommend placing the bottom blue layer first to help get your spacing correct.
Which heart do you like better? It is a tough choice. These hearts would be pretty on a tier tray or maybe on a table display as either decorations or add name tags too. You could also glue Jenga blocks to the back of the hearts so they stand up on their own. I am just leaning them up against my tier tray.
